The cladding package

A graduated grid of Eternit Pictura fibre cement.

Dmitro Facades supplied and installed 8mm Eternit Pictura fibre-cement cladding panels for main contractor Richardsons (Nyewood) Ltd at Vodafone's Swindon data centre, Windmill Hill Business Park, Swindon. The building was designed by The Ratcliff Partnership.

The façade is set out in nominal 1200 x 800mm panels. Dark grey panels form the base of the elevation, graduating through mid-grey, light-grey and white towards the roofline, with blue and green feature panels breaking the grid and contrasting orange doors set into the façade.

The package was completed in 2015, giving the building a distinct identity within the wider business park.

Every panel individually set, from near-black to white.

Dark, mid-tone and pale Eternit Pictura panels step across the elevation in a fixed 1200 x 800mm grid, giving the building its own identity within Windmill Hill Business Park.
