Cladding Remediation & Recladding Services
Investigation, replacement and rebuilding of existing cladding, with fire and cavity-barrier coordination and recorded QA.
One bay, four states.
How a remediation package reads on site — from the as-found elevation to the recorded handover.
01 · Existing
The as-found elevation — weathered cassettes, open joints, the survey zone marked for opening-up.
02 · Opened
Panels drawn back under controlled opening-up: membrane, insulation, carrier grid and cavity-barrier datums exposed for the assessors.
- Breather membrane
- Mineral-wool insulation
- Carrier grid & brackets
- Cavity barrier on the floor datum
03 · Rebuilt
The specified assembly reinstated as one system — barriers seated on the floor datums, new skin closed out.
04 · Recorded
Every concealed layer photographed and referenced before cover — bay, level and datum — into the handover file.
Delivery record
A certified remediation record.
The delivery history behind this family includes a major remediation package on a residential high-rise in London N1 — roof and cladding remediation, balcony waterproofing and 90-minute structural intumescent protection from level six to ground — undertaken by Dmitro Development and supported by project delivery records.
Held as an internal project record; not yet published as a named case study.
- remediation package on a residential high-rise
- Roof + façade
- waterproofing within the remediation package
- Balconies
- structural intumescent protection, level 6 to ground
- 90-min
- recorded activity, quotation to final applications

The sequence
Opening-up to handover, one accountable process.
Every stage produces something the project team can hold: a record, a sign-off, a file. The order below is the order on site.
01Investigation & opening-up
Controlled opening-up so the appointed assessors can record the as-built condition. Each position is protected, kept weather-tight and reinstated.
Produces — Opening-up schedule and location records
02Design-team coordination
Buildability and interface input to the remediation specification that the project’s designers and fire engineers produce and own.
Produces — Agreed details and sample sign-offs
03Controlled strip
Sequenced removal of the existing system, planned so every elevation is closed and weather-tight at the end of each working day.
Produces — Strip sequence and daily closure records
04Specified rebuild
Barriers, insulation, membranes, carrier grid and the new skin installed strictly to the issued specification — one buildable system, not separate trades.
Produces — Installation QA sheets per bay and level
05Concealed-work records
Every layer photographed and referenced before it is covered — tied to bay, level and datum so nothing concealed is unrecorded.
Produces — Concealed-works photo register
06Handover
The record set compiled with O&M input into the handover file, ready for the project’s own assessment and certification route.
Produces — Handover pack for the project file
Responsibility
Who does what — stated before anyone asks.

Capability
Three lanes, one workface.
Dedicated service pages will follow — the scope is delivered today under this family.
Recladding
Full strip-and-recover of elevations, including complete cladding replacement — new support grid, cavity barriers, insulation, membranes and panels rebuilt as one system, sequenced so occupied elevations are closed and weather-tight between shifts.
Cladding remediation
Remedial works to existing cladding systems, built to the remediation specification issued by the project design team — barrier lines reinstated and recorded at floor zones, openings and compartment boundaries.
Cladding investigation & opening-up
Controlled opening-up so assessors can record the as-built condition — positions protected, kept weather-tight and reinstated, with the findings recorded for the design team.
- Dmitro does not issue EWS1 certificates — those remain with qualified assessors.
- Dmitro does not provide independent fire-engineering sign-off — packages are built to the specification that fire engineers and designers produce.
- Water and fire testing is coordinated with qualified specialists where the project requires it.
- CHAS and Constructionline support contractor credibility; they are not a substitute for fire engineering, EWS1 or statutory assessment.
