GSK Security Lodge. Parklex facade package. Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
Dmitro Development delivered the facade package on GSK's new security and visitor lodge: Parklex Prodema timber-faced cladding and the rainscreen behind it.
The lodge from the vehicle approach: timber-faced panels and vertical fins under the curved canopy, with the glazed GSK entrance at its centre.

The lodge is the main security and visitor entrance to GSK's Medicines Research Centre on Gunnels Wood Road, replacing the former facility near the principal entrance.

The package was coordinated around the entrance glazing, the openings, the roof edges and each change in the facade's geometry, with flashings, copings and cills closing every edge. The living wall and the landscaping were not part of our package.

Stevenage Borough Council approved the lodge in May 2023. Moving the security and visitor entrance onto retained GSK land was part of the enabling strategy for redeveloping the adjoining land as a life-sciences campus.
