Five layers sit behind every panel we fix. One contract covers all five, so the joints between them stay with one company.
Carrier system
Brackets and rails fixed back to the frame, carrying the panel across the ventilated cavity.
NVelope at New Pier Wharf, Helping Hand at GSK Security Lodge, aluminium support profiles at Ability Plaza.
Cavity and fire barriers
Horizontal and vertical lines through the cavity at compartment floors and around openings.

Insulation
Mineral wool sized to the specification, from 50 to 180 mm, fixed to the backing wall.

A rainscreen recladding of an existing 2005 building on Kingsland Road, recorded for Procare Construction in 2016 and 2017: around 885 m² of 4 mm VitraBond natural zinc panels rivet-fixed to aluminium support profiles, 418 m² of new insulated sandwich panels, fire barriers and firebreaks through the cavity, and seventeen replacement windows.

Render and brick slip over external wall insulation, SFS, and windows and interfaces, as with Sto K-Rend at Rye Hill and Sto Rotofix Plus brick slip at Panorama Phase 2.

Do you design the rainscreen, or install to our design?
Both. The Point was a design-responsible granite rainscreen, New Pier Wharf ran as a design-and-build through-wall facade, and the Alucobond at Little Bookham was designed, supplied and installed.
At Randall's we installed the specified SureClad ceramic granite, and at Swindon we supplied and installed the Eternit Pictura panels.
Will you take the SFS and insulation behind the panel as well?
Yes. New Pier Wharf ran from the Kingspan SFS to the Alucobond skin as one package. At Ability Plaza the package included new insulated sandwich panels and additional SFS studs behind the zinc.
How are the cavity and fire barriers evidenced?
Barriers are photographed before the panel closes over them, and hold points are signed off as each elevation closes. Inspection and test plans, sign-offs and handover packs go to the main contractor with the O&M file.
Can you reclad an existing building?
Yes. Ability Plaza was a zinc rainscreen recladding of a building completed in 2005. Where the existing cladding has to be investigated and stripped first, the work runs as a remediation package.
How far do you travel for a package?
Recorded rainscreen packages run from Haggerston and Rotherhithe to Southend-on-Sea, Uxbridge and Swindon. We also deliver facade work across Guernsey and the Channel Islands.
